This bearing is a 128 Self Aligning Ball Bearing. The outer ring has a spherical raceway and its center of curvature aligns with that of the bearing; therefore, the axis of the inner ring, balls and cage can move to some extent around the bearing center. This type of ball bearing is recommended when the alignment of the shaft and housing is difficult and the shaft may flex. Dimensions of the bearing are 8mm x 24mm x 8mm. This bearing is made of Chrome Steel. you can buy it online at http://www.vxb.com/page/bearings/PROD/Kit7121

Help with bearing selection?
If you have the luxury to select what bearings to choose from, don't think of any bearings than the standard ones, the following ball bearing list will be your best selection in terms of price and availability, they are metric, so all dimensions are in millimeters, going metric is much more affordable, the following bearings are available in multiple designs.
Click on each of the links to find all the different design, let's take the first item as an example, 6000 ball bearing is just an open bearing that can be used inside any contained design like a housing that won't get any contamination, well that is not easy to find, that's why they invented the 6000-2RS & 6000ZZ, two closed designs, the first is usually marked 6000RS is a double rubber sealed closed bearing, the seal is installed in a pre-made outer ring groove, with grease already in there, nice, huh? as for the 6000ZZ, usually marked 6000Z, closed with metal shield with also grease inside.
Here is what the open Bearings look like, in our example it is the 6000 ball bearings
The metal shielded 6000ZZ ball bearings, looks like this
And the rubber sealed 6000-2RS ball bearings looks like this
The 6000 bearings snap ring looks like this
Well, now is the time to select your ball bearings of the following list,
Metric Deep Groove Ball Bearings 6000 Series
Metric Deep Groove Ball Bearings 6200 Series
Metric Deep Groove Ball Bearings 6300 Series
Other designs like flanged and with a groove and a snap ring can help ease the assembly of your machine, but not as common as the ZZ & 2RS designs, so if I get to choose I would always go for 2RS design, well, as for electric motors, I suggest going for the ZZ design, they have lower friction factor because there is no contact between the shield and the inner ring, as for the rubber seal, installed in the outer ring and in contact with the inner ring.
The above list of ball bearings are from the 10mm bore to 50mm, again, you won't find more economical and efficient sizes, the most common material for the inner rings, outer rings and the balls are chrome steel, also knows as 52100, but can be available in stainless steel, ZrO2 ceramic, Si3N4 ceramic, SiC ceramic or even plastic.
Good luck and thanks for reading!

3mm Loose Ceramic Ball Bearings
VXB.com offers a large selection of sizes, material, and grades of loose ball bearings. Here we have a 3mm Zirconium Oxide (ZrO2) loose bearing. Each loose bearing is graded according to its sphericity; the lower the number, the closer to being a perfect sphere. This featured bearing has a G25 grade in sphericity. Ceramic will never rust, making it ideal for any application with high humidity. Another benefit to full ceramic bearings is the minimal amount of fiction it produces.

8mm Linear Motion System
8mm Linear System
Our linear system is one of the most popular items we offer. This 8mm linear slide unit and shaft are individually sold, but we do offer complete linear sets for some sizes. The slide unit has a pre-installed bushing. The bushing moves in a linear motion by utilizing the friction between radial ball bearings and a shaft. This system can be designed into many different applications such as factory automated equipment, machine tools, industrial machines, electrical equipment, optical and measuring instruments.

High Temperature 6201 Bearings
This 6201 bearing has the capacity to handle up to 900ºF, making this an ideal bearing for high-heat producing applications. A high temperature bearing will often be found with out a cage, also known as a full compliment bearing. This will allow the ball bearings to expand and still function properly. The dimensions for this featured bearing are 12mm x 32mm x 10mm and is made of chrome steel.
Custom Bearings featuring 608-2RS custom outer race
Would you like your own custom bearings? You can have your company name on the seal, logo, extended inner race, different material, ect. This featured 608-2RS bearing has a custom outer race. Here, at VXB.com, we offer the option to customize any bearing. You can provide us with specifications, a drawing and we will gladly quote you the job. Contact us with any questions, we are happy to help.
7006 Angular Contact Ball Bearing, Say "Good bye" to your 6006
With a 40º angel, this 7006 Angular contact bearing is fit for an application with thrust load. The precision rating is an Abec-5. The single row angular contact bearing was designed to support heavy thrust loads in one direction. The thrust capacity increases with the contact angle. The dimension for the 7006 bearing are 30mm x 55mm x 13mm. The bearing is composed of 2 chrome steel races, phenolic cage, and Silicon Nitride Ceramic Si3N4 ball bearings for less friction; less heat, therefor longer life.
The 7006 angular ball bearings can replace the 6006 deep groove bearings, much better performance in terms of speed and rigidity of the machine, no wonder CNC machines only have angular contact bearings, read more at http://www.vxb.com/page/bearings/PROD/Kit8153
