Bearings have lips too...

Bearings have lips too… Well, it’s not really a lip; it’s a flange! What is the purpose of the flange? The flange makes it easy to mount and remove a bearing from an application. A bearing without a flange sits in the housing and would need a special method/tool to remove it. This featured bearing is lubricated with a light oil preserve, making it spin smoothly, http://www.vxb.com/page/bearings/PROD/Kit14217
